Hi Shiree! What is your favorite thing about acting?

There are so many reasons why I love to act, but my favorite is the psychological experience I go through when bringing a character to life. This happens especially if it's a character that is nothing like myself. The challenge is rewarding. Allowing myself to feel things I never felt and mentally placing myself in situations I've never been in.

We know you love music, what are you currently into these days?
Wow. So much to choose from but I would have to say currently I have been digging the new Artic Monkeys album, Empire of the Sun, and Crystal Castles. Which I just saw Crystal Castles live in LA. If you're the slightest fan of them, that is a must-see show!

I need to look into Crystal Castles now. What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?
Being outdoors and being active. I have a hard time secluding myself to a gym, so my kind of workout is anything from hiking to playing beach volleyball with friends. If I'm not outdoors, you'll more than likely find me buried in a book.

Favorite booking so far and why?
My favorite booking so far would have to be Eastbound and Down. It's a show I've followed since Season 1 and to get the opportunity to guest star in their Season 3 finale was BEYOND surreal.

You definitely rocked in Eastbound and Down!! Next up and coming project that you will be in?
I have 2 up and coming projects in the works. First, I will be portraying the role of  "Mamma" in the dark drama "Henry Lee: Illegitimate Heir to the Throne" based on the early life of America's most prolific serial killer, Henry Lee Lucas. It is quite a challenging role, so getting prepared for the role has been a learning experience. Filming starts at the end of September. Following "Henry Lee" I will be headed to Fayetteville, TX  to shoot the supernatural thriller, "Dawn of the Crescent Moon" where I will be playing the role of "Dawn". The film is about 5 college students who travel to a small Texas town hoping to uncover the truth behind a local Comanche legend. My character befriends the five students and sheds light on the legend of Blood Lake. Filming starts in mid-October and I couldn't be more excited!

We can't wait to see these films!! Congrats on all of the success!
