We couldn't be more proud of Page713 actress Rebekah Stanley for stealing the show with her performance in "Legally Blonde" as Elle Woods!
With the completion of the school musical, she is now off to getting ready for Page Parkes Agent Review 2013, as she is transforming back to her natural brunette hair. She'll be headed to LA this spring break as well for training and audition purposes.
"All the staff at Page Parkes have been wonderful and instrumental through this whole process. Words cannot express our appreciation for the professionalism and guidance."-Roxanne Stanley (Rebekah's mother)
We were able to snag a few pictures of the lovely Rebekah as well as an interview with her below!

What inspired you to become
an actress?
I actually remember the
exact moment! I was sitting at home watching Moulin Rouge for the 1 millionth
time and I was crying and singing and laughing then I thought, "Wow. I
want to make people feel like this. I want to be just like Nicole Kidman."
So that's when I googled all this acting stuff and I found Page Parkes. I had
to beg my mom for like a year but she finally gave in and I came in to meet
everyone at Page 713. I took my first class about a week later and I was hooked.
I love being able to be all these different people, and feel all these
different emotions, and making people feel certain things. It's always the best
feeling when you can get whoever is watching you to cry or laugh or feel better
or whatever. It's one way I can truly express anything I'm feeling. And that's
why I act.
What was the most exciting
part of taking on the role of Elle Woods?
One of the most exciting
parts is that I moved from a different school so when I auditioned nobody had
any idea who I was. I walked in the door and everyone was like
"whaaaat?" I was in LA when I figured out I got the part of Elle
Woods so it was just all around a very exciting summer for me. This part was
kind of like my "debut" into my new school. And after the show I had
SO MANY people come up to me and tell me how much they loved the show and they
were all really sweet about it and it was a good welcoming into my new school.
How did you prepare for this
role?
Well I think the biggest
thing for me was dying my hair blonde!! I had dark brown hair before I dyed it
to be "little Miss Woods, Elle" so that was probably the biggest
preparation. We also rehearsed everyday from August until January from 3:15-6pm
and I usually stayed after for extra stuff like little scenes between the other
leads and me.
What made you most nervous?
Walking on stage dressed
in a pink fuzzy sequined bunny suit. Like in the movie, she shows up to a party
wearing a bunny suit because Vivienne told her it was a costume party to
embarrass her. So I think walking on stage in that costume made me the most
nervous. And I've never played any real LEAD in musicals before so that was another
big one.
Where is your favorite hang
out spot?
I LOVE football. Football
season is the best part of the year. I have CRAZY school spirit so I love going
to any kind of sporting events and stuff like that. So probably just sitting in
the student section during football games cheering as loud as I can with the
other students.
What is your current top
three picks on your playlist?
Ooo. That's a hard one
for me. I'm really into Train, Bruno Mars, and the Script right now. So those
three!!
