Madeline McDonald Journey to Nashville

While actors dream of moving to LA, musicians dream of Nashville, and this is where our very own Madeline McDonald has been dreaming of relocating for years! Madeline is one of the select emerging musicians that Page Parkes personally manages. She and Page recently decided it was time for her to take the next big step in her career and make the jump to Nashville!! In preparation for the move they ventured to Nashville's sparkling streets to prepare...And of course, they had a blast along the way!

We sat down and spoke with Madeline about the whole experience!
She gushed about the wonderful restaurants they visited, including a Nashville go to Husk, a small local restaurant with great dishes!

Her experience with Gordon Perry, who "brought me in like family once I told him I was moving there in January!". Of course Gordan is a great man to have in your corner, he has been a renascence man in the music business throughout his entire life, and Madeline raved about his work with "...many writers and artists in pop/rock/in California..." now Gordan and his family reside in Nashville year round.

Madeline went on to tell us how she was able to experience her very first Writers Round, at none other then the infamous Nashville bar Winners! This memory will be one she will forever cherish. Of course her night just kept getting better when she was invited by some new friends to get on stage and perform a song! In our interview she went on to gush about the people "...it was amazing to be around so many people who literally have the same dreams and mind sets and loves as you do. Nashville is a town of humble dreamers.
I saw one of my favorite writers Josh Hope perform some songs he has written for big name artists like Chris young "I'm comin over"
Everyone is just so much fun, it blew my mind and made me feel at peace once I realized... I was really home.
"

Of course we couldn't help but be jealous when she told us she wrapped up her trip backstage at the Luke Bryan and Randy Houser concert opened by Dustin Lynch... "It was so awesome, they are such talented people and I'm blessed to be able to share similar gifts and dreams as them! I look up to them for being as humble as they are even in the spotlight and pressure "
Thank you for sharing your trip with us Madeline! We cannot wait to hear all about your exciting move to Nashville!
