Houston Chronicle

Have you checked out the Houston Chronicle recently? Joy Sewing, with the Houston Chronicle, recently interviewed Page and her inspirational article on our incredible founder is in papers today! We as a company are beyond proud to be a part of such an inspirational story, and are some of the many people who owe Page a "Thank You" for changing our lives!! A few of our favorite quotes from the interview can be seen below, but be sure to click HERE to read the whole article!

"For years, Parkes, 58, put in 20-hour days and sacrificed her personal life to be a mother,
counselor and all-around head cheerleader for a generation of young, aspiring models."

"Parkes spent most of her career scouting and nurturing models as if they were her own children.
She gave them money for food when they had none, a bed in her own house when they had no place to sleep and, of course, work as a model.
But by 49, she wanted her own family and adopted three siblings, then ages 5 months, 2 and 3 years old.

Hidden Figures: Kamryn Johnson

Many of you have watched over the years as Kamryn Johnson has grown up while pursuing her career in acting. Kamryn says it all started when she was a small child and would pause and rewind various scenes on TV and re-enact them! Thankfully for Kamryn, her mother noticed her daughter's budding talent and helped cultivate her skills by bringing her to train at the Page Parkes School of Modeling and Acting!

Since her very first days at Page Parkes Kamryn has been turning heads with her hard work and entrepreneurial spirit! Not only is Kamryn one of our leading child actors but she, and fellow Page Parkes Talent Saniya Scott, published their very own cook book, Cooking In Style!
Their book can be purchased on Amazon.com!

Our young stars latest project landed her on set with some of today's leading ladies, including Octavia Spencer and Taraji Henson! In this recent project Kamryn plays the young daughter of Dorothy Vaughan (Played by Octavia Spencer) in Hidden Figures. This film is based on the inspirational true story of a group of African-American women who provided NASA with essential mathematical data that was used to launch their first successful mission into space!

You can watch Kamryn's recent interview on KPRC by clicking HERE and listen to the little
star share more about her story and experience being surrounded by so many incredible women!
