With designers David Peck, Lela Rose and Lauren Bush kicking off the second night of Fashion Houston, it was an amazing night of fashion firsts! President George H.W. Bush and former First Lady Barbara Bush attended the evening to support their granddaughter, Houston native, Lauren Bush in her first appearance at Fashion Week!

San Antonio resident and PPM model Christi Schaeffer was recently spotted on the cover of British hairdresser's journal, HJ Magazine!


In a recent interview with the Dallas office, Christi was asked how it all came about, and she told us, "I modeled for a salon in Austin and they won the NAHA competition for this look!"

The contest is open to females between the ages of 13 - 25 who stand between 5'7" to 6'0" and males between the ages of 16 - 25 who stand between 6' to 6'4". The contest runs from August 10 through November 3, 2010. By utilizing MyStudio and its website, www.MyStudio.net, contestants can create a five-minute video that highlights their modeling potential. Contestants will have access to MyStudio's vast catalog of digital backgrounds, to highlight their looks and convey their personalities.

This contest is the second in a series of exclusive model searches to be sponsored by The Network Talent and hosted by MyStudio HD Recording Studios. Future modeling contest will be launched in Phoenix, Los Angeles, and additional towns throughout the United States as MyStudio continues to expand its national footprint. PPM Hosts 25th Anniversary Fall Go See!

Industry Professionals came together last night at the W Hotel Ghost Bar for Page Parkes Management’s 25th Anniversary Fall 2010 Go See Event, sponsored by Modern Luxury Dallas!
Celebrating 25 years of being a pillar of the modeling industry in Dallas, TX, top retailers, casting directors, art directors, photographers and editors viewed the latest crop of Talent in a runway show produced by Christopher Rich of PPMGMT and Bret McKinney, Director of Visual Merchandising and Fashion Presentation for Stanley Korshak.
The Runway show focused on the tones and trends for the upcoming Fall 2010 Season featuring Designers such as: Alexander Wang, Brioni, Catherine Malandrino, Diane Von Furstenberg, Etro, Haute Hippie and RED Valentino.
Page Parkes Mgmt also unveiled a brand new series of photographs and video shot by Photographer Tim O’Keefe. The fun and energetic photographs will be used for an upcoming promo piece, showcasing Page Parkes Models.
Guests were treated to cocktails provided by Dripping Springs Vodka and music by resident Ghost Bar DJ WishFM.
Page Parkes Management was established in Dallas in 1985. The agency quickly garnered a reputation for launching many of the world’s most exotic faces consistently appearing in international advertisements and publications and managing their careers worldwide.
